When freezing eggs wasn’t so popular, the mother not only bravely accepted the concept of freezing eggs but also received the surgery five years ago. Five years later, she met her perfect Mrs.Right and started the third generation plus In vitro fertilization (IVF 3+) treatment. She implanted one embryo and became pregnant at her forty-something. After 10 months, she successfully gave birth to a cute baby. When she held her baby in her arms all of her hard work paid off.
Five years ago, She froze eggs for more opportunity
Miss Woo came to Stork Fertility Center 5 years ago before freezing eggs is right on trend.
In order to have more opportunities in the future, she froze her eggs five years ago. She was single at that time and had many small achievements in her career. She not only got the opportunity to go abroad for the internship but also fulfilled the dream of traveling abroad by car. However, she was very worried that she didn’t have a child, which is also called "the crystal of love" at her 36 years old.
So, she came to the Stork Fertility Center. We successfully freezed 42 mature eggs in one therapy cycle(about two weeks). 42 mature eggs are really enough for the age of 36.
After the therapy, she wrote down some words that are really encouraging. She said
“Fortunately, I take good care of myself. The ovarian function is good so I can have another choice-freeze my eggs. Actually, I am not afraid of leaving regret, but I am afraid of not doing anything. Although it might be a bit late at the age of 36, when you meet the right person in the future you can start a whole new chapter without any concern.”
Five years later, She meet her Mr.Right
In the middle of 2020, she said she met a person who she wanted to marry. MissWoo came to the Stork Fertility Center to discuss which is the best way to become pregnant.
Miss Woo’s menstrual cycle is regular which means one 41-years-old egg will be released every month. Also, she has 42 36-years-old eggs which keep under -196°C.
According to the statistics, the rate of a 41-years-old egg turning into a baby is only 3.3%, however, the rate of a 36-years-old egg turning into a baby is 6.6%. After considering, Miss Woo decided to try the third generation plus In vitro fertilization (IVF 3+) treatment. Use the highest chance and the shortest time to get pregnant.
Thawing eggs in 2020
We know that preserving 15 36-years-old eggs has 90% to give birth to a baby. So, we thawed 15 eggs for fertilization and left 27 eggs . The lab is really outstanding, they turned 15 thawing eggs into 8 embryos. An average of 1.8 thawing eggs can turn into an embryo which means technology is really really top.
We send 2 embryos out of 8 to the PGS test. The PGS report showed that one is normal and one is mosaic.(The embryos normal rate is high due to the good quality of the young eggs.) We implanted one embryo in the specific implantation window-122 hrs. After 14 days, the HCG level was 1202, it was really wonderful. The follow-up heartbeat and baby development were also very good, and finally a healthy baby boy was born at full term.
The quality of young eggs are the best
I admire Miss Mu very much. She was determined to freeze her eggs when she was young, and she also took action. After the egg freezing treatment, She also found her happiness in life and work, and finally found her Mrs.Right.
Only more than 10 eggs are needed to create many blastocysts if you freeze your eggs at a young age. Moreover, the quality of the embryos are also very good. Through PGS inspection, we can preferentially select embryos with normal chromosomes for implantation, improving the chance of pregnancy for each implantation. Through ERA inspection, we can accurately implant the selected embryos at the right time. PGS and ERA both increase the success rate.
After implantation, we are very lucky that there was no obvious abnormality in the immune examination. The baby also grew up smoothly and was born safely and healthily.

What everyone cares most about is "Can it be used in the future?" and "How will it be used in the future?" Today I share the story of this good pregnant mother. When she was a young lady five years ago, she made a good pregnancy decision, freezing eggs. In the end, I successfully gave birth to a healthy baby.
