Things that happened to my friend let me think about freezing eggs

It only took a few months for me to decide to freeze eggs. Several months before my treatment, I heard some stories. Some get breast cancer, so they need to receive chemical treatment and postpone their schedule of having children. Some try to be pregnant for a long long time, eventually trying IVF. Some have ectopic pregnancy which causes difficulty in getting pregnant afterward. Some are anxious about their age and eager to find someone to marry and have children, however, in the end they get hurt in love. After hearing stories above, I realize that it is so hard to find a suitable person to give birth to. But, being pregnant will be more difficult when you get older.     

I decided to purchase fertility insurance at the age of 32.

I was very lucky to find Stork Fertility Center and decided to freeze my eggs at the age of 32. I know there are a lot of uncertain things in life. Our thoughts will change through time and life experiences. However, freezing eggs can be controlled by yourself. Freezing eggs is just like purchasing fertility insurance.

Making the appointment in Taichung and Consulting about Freezing eggs

I made an appointment in Taichung for a free consultation about freezing eggs. Consultants told me everything carefully. They not only told me the relation among AMH and Age and Quality of eggs, but also the process and fee of freezing eggs. I got the whole concept of freezing eggs after consultations including the risk and problem I might face. The price is very open in the Stork Fertility Center. I took the blood test of AMH right after consultation. The report came out the next day. Fortunately, my AMH shows that I can reach my goal in one treatment. This is completely beyond my expectations. Perhaps genetics play a part, but I believe that I try to go to bed early and get up early, eat a normal diet, and exercise moderately helps a lot.

Success cases increase my confidence. I started my treatment of freezing eggs. 

Menstruation came on Friday, I “lined” my consultant immediately. They arranged the appointment next Monday at HsinChu. The woman was also working hard in a foreign country at the beginning, and she didn’t want to get married and have children so quickly, so she decided to freeze her eggs. A few years later, her career reached her goal and she also found the right person. She wanted to get married and had children. After taking the injection home, the next step is to give the injection according to the instructions on APP of Stork Fertility center. The shape of the injection is like a pen. After overcoming the fare, there is no problem with the injection. Except for a slight abdominal distension, there is no discomfort. During this period, I also maintain the balance of work and rest, eat more protein, drink more water, and avoid strenuous exercise. My previous habit of heavy training will also be temporarily stopped. After several injections, I went back to the clinic to take a blood test. The consultant explained that the report was very good. Under the instructions of the doctor, I took two more boxes of injections and egg-breaking injections back, and made an appointment for the egg retrieval procedure. However, because the egg-breaking injection had to be completed within the specific time, I was worried if I could do it. So, egg-breaking injection was completed at the Taipei Hospital by the medical staff.

In the end, I decided to retrieve eggs at the Stork Facility Center11 in Taipei. The process of egg retrieval was smooth. The nurses and anesthesiologists would always guide me what to do next. When everything was ready, the doctor came in and then I was anesthetized. When I woke up, I was already in the recovery room. Nurses immediately came to care about my condition. Because of my lower abdomen pain, the nurses gave me painkillers and said that it was because I had retrieved more eggs than others. It will feel more painful if the number is more, but in fact how many can be frozen still have to wait for the check by the lab. Fortunately, the pain relieved a lot after a while, and I was able to sit in the waiting area and eat while waiting for the doctor.

I can go home right after ovarian pick up procedure and follow the direction of my doctor. Consultants followed my situation until my menstruation came. In my case, the abdominal distension was quite uncomfortable three days after the ovarian pick up procedure. The abdominal distension was more serious than the time before the procedure. After the fourth day, I feel much better. Menstruation came ten days after the procedure, and my body was almost the same as before, but I still followed the advice to avoid strenuous exercise.
