Polyps affect pregnancy
I am an engineer. I didn't have any gynecological problems before I got married. I think it should not be a problem to have children after marriage. And when there was no news for half a year after marriage, the elders around us began to find various ways to provide for us. Whether it is traditional Chinese medicine, pulse-taking, acupuncture, or esoteric medicine, I just hope that my wish can be fulfilled as soon as possible. However, we don’t get any good news.
One day, I thought it was time to give Western medicine a chance. By chance, someone introduced "Lai Xinghua Obstetrics and Gynecology (the early name of Stork Fertility Center)" in Dongmen Street, Hsinchu. After a long discussion with my husband and struggle, I finally mustered up the courage to go to the clinic. Of course, many examinations were required at the beginning, and it was only then that I discovered that the uterus, which I thought was good, actually had polyps. After the first surgery, I thought it should be all right! Unexpectedly, I will go back to the doctor for a check-up in a month, and there are still a few. To be honest, I felt very upset, and I even wanted to give up. At that time, the doctor asked: Do you still want to do it? Although I am not very willing, I still continue to complete it.
Second implantation of IVF to bring me the first baby
After the two surgeries, I decided to let everything take its course. After two or three years, there was still no news, and I finally went back to Stork for help. This time, I was obedient and went straight to the IVF treatment. From ovulation stimulation, egg retrieval, and implantation, the first time was not so right and successful. Because some embryos were frozen, I tried the second implantation after a month. I am very happy that God gave me hope. This implantation of both embryos was successful, and I heard two sonorous and powerful heartbeats in the 8th week. As a first-time mother, I was so moved and about to cry. But when I was close to giving birth in the late pregnancy, during the routine check-up, it was found that there was only one heartbeat left. The doctor immediately arranged for an operation and gave birth to a lovely younger sister. Maybe the other baby wasn't ready, maybe God was afraid I wouldn't be able to take care of two at a time.
It wasn’t right for having second baby
After having my first baby 2~3 years later, I tried to have the second one.I thought I had been through pregnancy, and recovered well. I may be pregnant again, but it did not happen. So we went to Stork to try to do IVF treatment again. From ovulation stimulation, egg retrieval, and implantation, I always feel terror-stricken. I felt like taking the roller coaster, and it always ended in “zero”. Finally, I gave up, wanting to let it go.
IVF3+ let me have the second baby
7 years later, I received a text from Stork, which noticed the embryos were about to expire. They asked if I still wanted to keep them. I would like to give us one more chance after I discuss with my husband. After discussion with the doctor, we chose to do IVF3+. We implanted in precise time, instead of random implantation. I realized that everyone has a different time zone for implantation. Someone earlier, someone later, and I am former. My daughter is always beside me and being helpful during my treatment. I have my second baby and my daughter was so happy to have a sibling to play with.
Many thanks to the help of the staff of Stork. They patiently answered any question during pregnancy. I also thank the doctor for not giving up, so that I can become a mother again and feel the joy of having two babies at home.
