It’s Not About Testing Early – It’s About Saving More Babies!
For IVF implantation, which day would you want the results announced? Naturally, the sooner the better. The current global norm of announcing results on Day 10–14 is certainly not your preferred choice. Since Stork Fertility Center first introduced “Day 7 result announcement” on our official website in 2022, many fertility centers in Taiwan and abroad have followed suit.
Recently, a patient from Hong Kong (CN 105X5X) went to Thailand for IVF, transferring one chromosomally normal blastocyst. On Day 7, her pregnancy marker(β-hCG) was 17.85, but by Day 9 it had dropped to 5. I asked, “Did the doctor take any action?” She replied, “No. I still have three chromosomally normal blastocysts left and want to seek help.”
Coincidentally, a patient from the U.S. (CN 106X3X), only 33 years old, spent a large sum to transfer one chromosomally normal blastocyst. On Day 9, her pregnancy marker(β-hCG) was 319, but it eventually ended as a “chemical pregnancy.” She watched her little baby “disappear”—heartbreaking.
Three Major Benefits of Day 4 Result Announcement – Revolutionizing Live Birth Rates!
We don’t know the “earliest” result announcement day worldwide for IVF implantation, but Stork’s latest advanced version—“Day 4 pregnancy testing”—was originally intended to “rescue babies” from being lost. Over the years, it has unintentionally created three major benefits, earning great love from patients:
1. Low-Anxiety Benefit: Eliminates the 10-day wait for results. If pregnant, you can celebrate earlier; if not, you can stop medication sooner, reducing psychological stress. For those with negative results, we identify the “murderer” and advise on how to do better next time—unlike the others’ polite phrases such as “It’s luck, keep trying!” (Knowing sooner means peace of mind!)
2. Companionship Benefit: Detecting implantation earlier allows you to accompany the baby’s developmental journey. If pregnancy markers(β-hCG) rise slowly, it may indicate the baby is under attack from “immune” or “blood clotting” issues. Immediate “emergency intervention” is essential. (We want to be with you!)
Setup Requirement: This requires establishing a “Journey Center” team, which takes 3–5 years to train specialists. See classic cases: graduate number 8417 and 8499.
3. Emergency Rescue Benefit: Our “implantation rescue” success rate exceeds 50%. Live birth rates can rise from Taiwan’s national average of 35% to over 50%—meaning the number of transfers needed to become a mother drops from three to two, shortening the journey to motherhood by at least one-third and saving significant costs. (We fight for your baby!)
Setup Requirement: This requires building a “one-stop reproductive immunology physician” team—doctors skilled in both reproductive medicine, immunology, and thrombosis treatment, with over 1,000 successful cases. This expertise relies on comprehensive big data and emergency intervention parameters. See classic “Stork can help” - rescue cases: number 0008, 0018, 0019, 0024.
Stork Fertility Center– 25 Years of Innovation, Leading the Future of Reproductive Medicine
In the past, the global reproductive medicine field saw innovative breakthroughs every few years. Since COVID-19, however, no major new highlights have emerged. How can “old models” meet patients’ expectations? It’s no wonder global IVF live birth rates remain stuck around 35%.
This year, in celebration of Stork Fertility Center’s 25th anniversary, we have compiled 27 past innovative services and are sharing eight major breakthroughs from the past five years.
We also remind patients considering “Day 4–7 pregnancy testing” that unless your doctor possesses true “one-stop reproductive immunology” expertise, do not attempt to replicate this method—otherwise you may watch your baby fade away without being able to intervene, which in severe cases could cause post-traumatic stress.
