Writing her story feels especially meaningful at the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. Before heading out to work, you must take a few extra moments in front of the mirror. At that moment, do you look back at yourself from a year ago? Does it feel disappointing or amazing?
Looking back at the graduation message we gave her two years ago: "The unseen is more important than the seen!"
From age 32 (2018) to 36 (2022), from disbelief to belief, and through 11 embryo transfers, this Auto-Immune Mommy finally graduated—her courage rivals that of Xiaoqiao Zhao. Amazing!
The cover story heroine of iVie Issue 54 is truly nice—beautiful, graceful, kind, and confident. She stands out in both perseverance and adversity quotient, exuding a quality that makes people want to support her wholeheartedly. When we met her in 2020, she had already undergone four intrauterine inseminations (IUIs), four egg retrievals, and six embryo transfers at other clinics. Usually, those who come to Stork Fertility Center after traveling from clinic to clinic are already in less-than-ideal condition—her AMH was only 0.865.
Stork’s "First Transfer" was done at the right time (using ERA 144) with a single chromosomally normal blastocyst, but the result was "shallow implantation". For the "Second Transfer", another chromosomally normal blastocyst was transferred after being referred to the Immunology Department, where IVIG and biological agents were administered, but the outcome was the same. During the "Third Transfer", the immunologist concluded that IVIG was ineffective, so it was discontinued. Two untested blastocysts were transferred, but shallow implantation occurred again. For the "Fourth Transfer", the Immunology Department escalated treatment to the most advanced immunosuppressant, MabThera, but the result was still shallow implantation. In all four attempts, the little ones failed to survive beyond the first week after transfer, leaving the culprit unknown. Randomly trying different methods was not the solution. For the "Fifth Transfer", Stork designed a new strategy: repeating the ERA and transferring two untested blastocysts (D5/4AA + 5BC) while administering high-dose IVIG, Cimzia, and daringly giving a high-dose anticoagulant injection. Finally, it led to graduation.
Stork Fertility Center provides "one-stop" services, allowing every mom to graduate as quickly, pleasantly, and safely as possible.
The year 2022 (post-COVID-19) marked a significant turning point for Stork Fertility Center. Before this, we showed absolute respect for professional opinions and "trusted immunology" entirely. Patients experiencing repeated implantation failure (RIF) or recurrent miscarriage (RM) were all referred to immunologists for collaborative treatment. At that time, we fully embraced our role as reproductive physicians without questioning the approach. As a result, we endured considerable mistrust from patients who, despite undergoing the "full immune treatment", still failed to graduate. The most disheartening part was that when these patients faced failure, the explanation from immunologists was simply: "The embryo is not good." This was especially confusing as many of these cases involved repeated oocyte recipients or young patients, making the "embryo quality" explanation hard to accept. Feeling deeply hurt, we decided to "explore" beyond immunology to find answers. Surprisingly, we discovered that "thrombosis" was the real culprit—the ultimate villain. Without properly addressing thrombosis, no matter how much money is spent on biological agents (IVIG, Humira, Benlysta, Rituximab (Truxima), etc.) to combat immunity, it would all be in vain.
From relying on others to Stork’s own team of physicians providing one-stop services for both immunity and thrombosis, we have precisely defined reference values for various immunological indicators in the field of reproductive medicine, including: Thrombosis markers (Dd), Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNFα), Natural Killer (NK) cells, B cells. Through this, we developed innovative concepts and tools such as the "Implantation Monitoring Chart", "Implanted-Blastocyst Rescue (IBR)", and "Placental Function Monitoring Chart". We also established dedicated support centers, including the Journey Center, Client Safety Center, MMT Team. These initiatives ensure that domestic and international clients graduate as quickly, pleasantly, and safely as possible. In the past two years, we have successfully "reset to zero" the number of clients suffering from repeated implantation failure (RIF) and recurrent miscarriage (RM), both locally and abroad. The cover story heroine of this issue is one of them. For more stories, please visit the Stork Fertility Center website daily report under "Graduates" and "External Rescues".
2025 is a tumultuous year: "Stork Can Help!
The client is our teacher! Looking back at ourselves in 2022, there is only one word to describe it: "Lame!" From trusting immunology to trusting ourselves, we are grateful to the thousands of immune and thrombosis mommies who have created miracles over the years.
We are especially thankful for the immunologist’s reminder: "The embryo is not good!" — a statement that motivated us to develop a new product: "Implanted-Blastocyst Rescue (IBR)". To date, hundreds of domestic and international clients with repeated implantation failure (RIF) have come to us specifically for emergency rescue within 2-3 days after embryo transfer, even taking flights to get here, and have graduated successfully. It is truly exciting that every year, we "rescue" hundreds of babies this way. Stork Fertility Center has also fulfilled the vision promised back in 2014: to become a "Michelin 3-Star of the Reproductive Medicine Field", truly worth taking a flight to visit.
2025 will be a tumultuous year: "Stork Can Help!" Stork Fertility Center is ready to assist reproductive centers around the world in saving more babies, allowing families hoping for pregnancy to experience the warmth of having children.
Note: A "Reproductive Immunology Physician" refers to a hybrid specialist who is both a reproductive physician and an expert in immunology.
1.She underwent a total of five embryo transfers at Stork Fertility Center, with the results as follows:

After Transfer

2.Clients with "Repeated Implantation Failure (RIF)" and "Recurrent Miscarriage (RM)" have transitioned from relying on immunologists to receiving one-stop services designed by the Stork physician team. We have precisely defined the reference values that immunologists often hesitate to specify, covering various crucial indicators related to immunity and thrombosis:

Thrombosis Marker - Dd
Tumor Necrosis Factor - TNFα
Natural Killer Cells - NK
